Bad Jokes and Recycled Toilet Rolls Make it a Christmas to Remember in Brighton
A local events company has been encouraging people to collect their worst jokes and old toilet rolls in a bid to create stylish Christmas decorations and hand-made gifts.
Hard-Craft organised a series of popular Christmas themed craft classes covering making fabric wreaths, printed wrapping paper, handmade bath bombs, baubles and even “bad joke” crackers.
Kirsty Blackmore, class leader said “It’s been a fun few weeks planning these craft classes and we’ve had people travel from as far afield as Dorset to enjoy an evening of sociable making with us at the hotel. Researching bad jokes for the cracker class has probably permanently damaged my sense of humour – but we’ve loved meeting so many new people and teaching the skills to save them money and impress friends and family over Christmas.”
Hard-Craft will be back in the New Year with a detox-friendly natural cosmetics class and plenty of other creative crafts to try out over tea, coffee and a biscuit or two.
Classes are run at the Artist Residence Hotel in Brighton. For more details please visit www.hard-craft.co.uk or phone Katie on 07588692955.
